Before and After Care

Our Before and After Care Program provides a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for children outside of regular school hours. Designed to support working families, the program opens early in the morning and extends into the afternoon, offering flexible care options.

In the Before Care session, children can ease into their day with quiet activities and time to prepare for school in a calm, supportive setting. During the After Care session, students enjoy a balance of homework help, engaging activities, creative projects, and outdoor play. Our caring staff encourage social interaction, problem-solving, and enrichment opportunities, ensuring that every child feels safe, supported, and valued until they are picked up.

This service does include care on local county student closure days. Drop-in services can be provided on these days for students not enrolled in before and after care depending on space availability.

 

Currently, we only offer this service in Bowie and Silver Spring, MD.
